The 48th edition of the Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival is an exceptional event, bringing together acts of remarkable creativity and unparalleled virtuosity, where technical prowess borders on the extraordinary. Nearly 200 artists from around the world showcase all the major circus disciplines: horse riding and dressage, flying trapeze, hand-to-hand, teeterboard, contortion, juggling, and many more. Among the highlights of the program, the Richter family presents an elegant free riding act, culminating in “La Poste,” one of the most demanding and spectacular equestrian exercises. Latvian Andrejs Fjodorov amazes the audience with a sumptuous pigeon dressage act, while the Chinese acrobatic troupe from Dalian brings back to life the meteors, also known as shooting stars, a highly complex discipline dating back to the 3rd millennium BCE. Another thrilling moment is the impressive flights of the Mexican troupe led by Juan Cebolla. Humor isnot left out, with Italian clown Davide Vassallo and the Toni Alexis family ensuring a joyful and warm atmosphere. The entertainment once again is provided by the Bingo troupe, with Petit Gougou as master of ceremonies. Finally, the young artists discovered through the New Generation competition share the stage with established professionals, adding an extra dimension to this prestigious event.
