This unique platform offers a visibility to young artists
In January 2026, the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain celebrates its 45th edition. Founded in 1977, it has never ceased to fulfil its mission to the entire community, offering young artists a unique platform for visibility to help launch their careers. Over the course of a few days, a large number of professionals from around the world come to Paris to discover a ‘snapshot’ of the circus of today and tomorrow. Each year, we take care to present a new map of disciplines, as a way of showing the evolution of techniques and artistic forms. It is in this constantly renewed diversity that the Festival draws its DNA and strives to convince designers and agents of the value of engaging all the young talents who compete on its stage. The Festival is an international competition, but it is also and above all an extraordinary meeting place, a time for exchange and sharing. For this 45th edition, we have selected unusual talents, unexpected artistic proposals and unique creations, some of which have been specially designed for us. By coincidence, in 2026 the National Circus School in Montreal celebrates its 45th anniversary! As a long-standing partner, we have entrusted them with the design of the Opening Act, in which five boys and five girls perform in a sequence choreographed and directed by Howard Richard. Forty-five years of passionate transmission, from one end of the world to the other, is something to celebrate! It’s in Paris and it’s not to be missed!
